Catherine is the assigning travel editor at The Globe and Mail, Canada’s national newspaper. She has been editing and writing travel stories since 2010 when she joined its Travel section.

She is a features editor that also curates the First Person and Lives Lived columns. She has worked at The Globe and Mail for 24 years covering arts, lifestyle, television and travel. As travel editor, she looks into what a destination is doing differently and looks for mystery and adventure when she explores.
