Dayuse.com, the Multimillion Pound Opportunity for UK Hotels

New hospitality market revolutionises the hotel trade

Please join us for a revealing insight into Dayuse.com, the original online platform that is revolutionising hotel room booking - allowing rooms to be booked during the day, by the hour.

David Lebee (founder & CEO) and Julien Siegfried from Dayuse.com are available on April 13th or 14th for a briefing, offering insight into this groundbreaking concept and the people behind the scenes, at one of their central London hotels. The team have taken Dayuse.com to over 14 countries in five years and this number is to soar in the coming months and years, having secured Series A investment of €15 million late last year.

They can help you get beyond the obvious whispers of 'by the hour' bedroom hire, and into the heart of how this new concept is helping hotels make more money and helping customers nap, do business, enjoy some time out or just get over jetlag. (And ok, some like to treat their partners to a daydate too!)

The business started in 2010 in Paris, France, and is now operating in France, UK, Ireland, Italy, Austria, Belgium, Spain, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, US and Brazil. The expansion in the last five years has been huge with over 300 hotel partners making money from the new concept in the UK alone (140 of these in the London area).

To book an appointment please let us know you preferred day and time and we will be in touch to confirm details. (David is only here on 13th, but Julien is here both days)

What is Dayuse.com?

Dayuse.com arrived in the UK in 2014, starting a brand new disruptive trend for hotel owners capitalising on the potential for daytime bookings. The Dayuse.com platform enables hotels to sell their unoccupied rooms during the day at discounted rates, creating the opportunity to increase a hotel's revenue by 10%[i].

Dayuse.com offers daytime hotel bookings online, a trend already ready established on the continent by the start-up, but a previously untapped market for the UK hospitality industry. Allowing hotels to rent their rooms out twice a day, it provides a viable and lucrative additional revenue stream. There are over 630,000[ii] hotel rooms in the UK and it is estimated that 70% of these are vacant during the day, presenting a multimillion-pound business opportunity to the whole hospitality industry. The platform caters for business travellers, those in transit from long haul travel, as an office space and for leisure purposes.

David Lebée, founder and CEO, said: “The hospitality sector globally has been awakened by collaborative economy players, such as Airbnb, who have shaken up an industry that hadn't seen this level of innovation in decades. Dayuse.com is providing a complementary solution to enable the industry to both reclaim lost market share and claim a brand new revenue stream.”

Dayuse.com achieved the largest European Series A funding investment, €15million, in 2015. The investment, from renowned venture capture firms Idinvest Partners and Partech Ventures, with contributions from investors Paul Dubrule (Co-founder, Accor Group), Cédric Barbier (Founder, Lesjeudis.com) and Charles Petrucceli (Former President, American Express Travel), cements the brand as one of France's, and indeed the EU's, hottest companies.

Founded in late 2010 in Paris, France, Dayuse.com is the original daytime booking platform and is now operating in 14 countries across the world - France, UK, Ireland, Italy, Austria, Belgium, Spain, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, US and Brazil. The expansion in the last five years has been huge with over 300 hotel partners making money from the new concept in the UK, 160 of these in the London area alone.
