Intrepid Travel has launched a one-off gastronomic adventure, the 'Eat Your Way Around the World' trip, where travellers will have the chance to munch, crunch, sip and slurp their way through more than 150 local meals and delicacies across four continents.

Running from 30 March to 9 July 2018 and costing £22,000 per person, the trip combines Intrepid's popular food itineraries focusing on uncovering authentic culinary experiences and discovering the real people and inspiration behind the foods we love. Starting in Delhi, India the trip then discovers the sights and flavours of Vietnam, Cambodia, South Korea, Japan, Mexico, Israel and the Palestine Territories, before ending in Marrakech, Morocco.

Highlights of the trip include eating fresh-off-the-boat sashimi at the iconic Tsukiji Fish Market in Japan, high tea at the Taj Mahal in India, a taco crawl through Mexico City, an evening tucking into Buddhist fare on an overnight monastery stay in South Korea and savouring shakshuka in Tel Aviv. With a 101-day tour, there will also be plenty of time to relax and see the sights and attractions of each country. 

The tour includes 73 breakfasts, 42 lunches and 36 dinners at a range of family-run restaurants, rural homes, temples and monasteries, local markets, street food stalls and hands-on cooking classes. The tour also includes 100 nights' accommodation, over 120 activities and excursions and flights between each destination to help discover each unique cuisine and culture.
