Powder Byrne, the luxury family tour operator, is launching an in-resort tutoring programme for children  who are preparing to sit their Common Entrance, GCSE & A Level exams.    Powder Byrne understands that families  find it hard to justify an Easter or Spring escape when they have children approaching exam periods.  However, they also know the importance of holidays for their clients.

Available at select resorts on an individual and group basis, the PB Tutoring Programme aims to put anxious minds at rest about going away on holiday just before their kids key exams. 

This programme, exclusive to Powder Byrne, has been developed with pre-eminent London tutoring agency, Bonas MacFarlane.

Group Tutoring for Common Entrance/Prep School entrance students

• In the same way that Powder Byrne has its own tennis pros in its summer resorts, this company will have tutors based in Flims, Switzerland (Easter skiing) and Penha Longa, Portugal (May half term) for multiple families to use.
• It comprises of a 10 hour weekly programme for maximum of 6 students in one group.  Running from 8.30 – 10.00am in Flims and 9.00-10.15am in Portugal, the rest of the day is free to enjoy the fun in the PB kids programmes or spend time with the family.
• Cost:  £450 for a 10 hour programme 

Personal Tutor for 11 plus,  Common Entrance, GCSE's & A-Level Students.

• Through Bonus McFarlane, Powder Byrne can provide a private tutor to travel out with a family (or shared between 2 families).
• Private tutoring for students would be for a maximum of 6 hours per day for 6 days.  This is a bespoke package and will be crafted around each client's wishes. This service is available at any time subject to tutor availability.
• Cost:  A weekly package, comprising of 36 hours tuition would cost £1,280.  Cost of flights, transfers and hotel on half board basis for the tutor would be an additional cost.
