Tucan Travel have launched 12 new group tours to South America with the release of their new worldwide brochure for the 15-16 year. These new tours have been designed specifically for those who want to see as much as possible but do not have a lot of time to see it in. The fast moving group tours mostly fly from one sight to the next and stay in three star hotels and guesthouses to keep the price down.
Matt Gannan, CEO of Tucan Travel is quoted, “These itineraries were originally only available for travellers who wanted something tailor-made but we found that they were so popular that there was a market for turning them in to a group travel experience.”
These tours start in Lima, La Paz or Santiago and finish in Santiago, Buenos Aires or Rio de Janeiro depending on the length of the tour. The tours also operate in reverse and range from 11 to 32 days in length. The first departures for these tours are in May. The short length of these tours make them perfect for travellers from all over the world on annual leave from their jobs.

Alongside the new tours in South America, Tucan Travel have released departure dates for tours to coincide with the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, 2016. Tucan Travel have several group tours which will reach Rio de Janeiro, including some of their new group tours. Unlike the World Cup, the Olympics will be held almost entirely in Rio and group tours will start as far away as Quito or as close to Rio de Janeiro as Iguazu Falls and will travel across the continent. Booking this far in advance will allow you to apply the 5% early booking discount to your tour and only a deposit is needed. What's more, despite the expected increase in hotel prices over the Olympic period, Tucan Travel will not charge an extra supplement for accommodation in Brazil during this time.
