The Pacific Tourism Organisation (SPTO) invites specialized travel writers, travel magazines, bloggers, vloggers, broadcasters, digital travel marketers, and content creators to register for the 2025 South Pacific Tourism Exchange (SPTE), taking place May 9-10 at the Crowne Plaza Fiji Nadi Bay Resort & Spa in Nadi, Fiji.

With the theme "Unity in Diversity: Exploring the Pacific's Hidden Gems," SPTE 2025 offers media professionals a unique opportunity to engage with tourism operators, explore the region's diverse offerings, and share the authentic stories of the Pacific with global audiences.

SPTO Chief Executive Officer Christopher Cocker emphasized the importance of media participation in amplifying the Pacific's tourism narrative.

"SPTE is the premier platform for showcasing the best of the Pacific to the world. We welcome media professionals who are passionate about storytelling and eager to highlight the unique experiences our islands offer. Your engagement plays a crucial role in promoting the region's cultural richness, natural beauty, and sustainable tourism initiatives, “he said.

“SPTO encourages both seasoned Pacific-focused media professionals and agencies new to the region to apply. Media representatives must complete the Media Registration Form and submit a biography (up to 50 words). Submit the registration by March 7, 2025. The SPTE Committee will review all submissions to ensure they meet the selection criteria. Successful applicants will receive formal confirmation of their attendance. A media registration fee applies for attendance at SPTE 2025. Details on fees and participation benefits will be shared upon successful registration.”
