A National Landscape fit for a wedding
Couples are being encouraged to take a look at The Malverns and its stunning protected National Landscape as a perfect backdrop for their big day plans.
The Malverns, now classed as a National Landscape, was designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in 1959, and is home to a whole host of beautiful venues and independent businesses.
Quirky and traditional wedding venues across the Malvern Hills District include a countryside manor, a town centre restaurant, elegant churches, rustic barns, a castle, and a 16th century Abbey.
Local businesses include caterers, florists, chefs, dress and suit sellers, bakers and jewellers.
The Malverns, one of 46 National Landscapes in the UK, also offers picture perfect views with its hills, gardens and historic architecture.
Cllr Douglas Godwin, Portfolio holder for Economy and Tourism, at Malvern Hills District Council said: “We have so many wonderful venues and independent businesses in the district, perfect for weddings and celebrations of all different kinds. As a place of national importance, it is wonderful to see residents and visitors enjoying all the district has to offer.”
