14 October 2024: Brisbane: We are excited to announce that Travel Monitor has a new owner, Captured Travel Media Pty Ltd, with Kate Webster at the helm. Kate has worked with Travel Monitor for the past eight years as a travel journalist, and seen the publication develop and grow over that time.

Kate has over 20 years industry experience, working in roles such as travel consulting, airline reservations, wholesaler reservations, corporate travel and, for the past 12 years, as a travel journalist and editor. Her experience and knowledge in the industry is extensive and provides Kate with a first-hand understanding of what it is to be part of Travel Monitor's industry audience.

With ownership change comes a fresh new look website and e-newsletter designed to specifically target what the travel industry needs.

Joining Kate as the publisher and editor is Sarah Clements, who has stepped into the role of Sales Manager. Sarah has previously worked in the travel industry and has returned after starting a family.

Travel Monitor has been delivering the First News of the Day to the travel industry since 2009 and continues the tradition of only engaging experienced writers, editors and other professionals to source and create Travel Monitor content.

We have introduced the AGENT ZONE, a space where travel agents can easily access the information they need to know. It offers a voice to the travel industry and community. The writers are industry professionals who have sat in the very seats of those who read the publication, working previously as travel agents, reservation managers, airline staff and more.

With a combined knowledge of over 35 years in the industry, we know what our readers need to know. The Agent Zone is a dedicated area for travel agents, full of information to help them better achieve their career goals, assist with learning and training and a space where they can be heard.
