Disneyland Paris Unveils a Thrilling Lineup of Experiences Including a Wickedly Fun Halloween, Enchanted Christmas and Brand-New Nighttime Spectacular

Disney Destinations International

During D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, Disneyland Paris shared exciting news about the destination's future, and primarily the 2026 opening of World of Frozen, celebrating Walt Disney Animation Studios' Frozen films; followed, at a later date, by the creation of the very first immersive attraction and themed area inspired by the beloved Disney Animation film, The Lion King. Rediscover all of Disneyland Paris's announcements at D23 here.

Yesterday, Disneyland Paris unveiled the exceptional lineup of events awaiting guests over the next few months, especially Disney Halloween Festival, featuring a devilishly fun program from 1st October to 3rd November 2024, leading into the eagerly awaited Disney Enchanted Christmas from 9th November 2024 to 6th January 2025. Also, during the end-of-year period, a new epic show entitled Doctor Strange: Mystery of the Mystics will run in the evening from November 23 2024 to March 29 2025 at Marvel Avengers Campus. Finally, from 10th January 2025, an all-new nighttime spectacular will enchant guests of all ages every day at Disneyland Park, featuring a magical combination of iconic songs and projections of Disney characters onto Sleeping Beauty Castle and – for the very first time – onto Main Street, U.S.A.

DISNEYLAND PARIS WILL OPEN ITS DOORS TO THE MAGIC OF CHRISTMAS

The destination will don its winter coat, bringing out dazzling decorations, greetings with Santa[8] and iconic Disney characters in festive fashions, as well as enchanting shows including the renamed Mickey's Dazzling Christmas Parade. This fairytale atmosphere will extend into the parks, stores, restaurants and even the Disney Hotels, especially Disneyland Hotel, which will dress up in the gentlest Yuletide colors to offer kids and grown-ups a royal dream. What's more, all guests to Disneyland Paris will have the unique opportunity to greet the new year in a magical, festive setting on 31st December 2024.

DECORATIONS AND EXPERIENCES TO CAPTURE THE ESSENCE OF THE END-OF-YEAR FESTIVE SEASON

On the way into Disneyland Park, a majestic 24-metre-high Christmas tree towers over Main Street, U.S.A., adorned by almost 1,000 Christmas ornaments. This central avenue, where snow will fall several times a day, will shine dazzlingly bright, leading guests as far as Sleeping Beauty Castle. Once a day in the Castle Courtyard, children and grown-ups will be able to greet Aurora and her Prince Philip from Disney Animation's “Sleeping Beauty”, present from 16th November, before heading off to meet other beloved Disney characters such as Chip 'n' Dale or Winnie the Pooh. Some of these characters – like Stitch, Goofy and Jack Skellington – will even dare to dress up like Santa! And he will most definitely be at Disneyland Paris, listening to last-minute Christmas gift wishes before embarking on his yearly long-haul journey.

The legendary end-of-year Mickey's Dazzling Christmas Parade – the 2022 winner of the prestigious Brass Ring Award for “Most Creative Christmas/Holiday Show” bestowed by International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) – will be staging its big comeback. Twice daily, several floats will parade along Main Street, U.S.A. to the sound of exhilarating music, accompanied by Mickey Mouse and his friends, Disney Princesses and Santa Claus. Nearly 90 artists, on stage and backstage are dressed in their finest costumes to enhance the wondrous atmosphere of this parade. At nightfall, the parade will light up, adding an extra dash of magic.

After this high-spirited ceremony, it's time for the musical “Let's Sing Christmas” staged in Videopolis Theatre and featuring Mickey, Minnie and their friends – an opportunity to come and sing traditional Christmas carols such as Little Santa Claus or Jingle Bells, with lyrics displayed in real-time on-screen. Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy and Goofy will be joined this year by a new friend, to kindle a festive Christmas spirit in a cheerfully warm-hearted atmosphere.

Christmas is the ideal time to step inside a fully-fledged fairytale. And what could be better than admiring Disney Princesses, in their most beautiful dresses greeting guests with an elegant waltz at the foot of Sleeping Beauty Castle? From 16th November, Aurora, Cinderella, Belle, Tiana, Jasmine, Rapunzel, Ariel and Snow White will amaze kids and grown-ups, once a day, with an enchanting interlude, Disney Princesses Holiday Season Celebration, which will sprinkle a little more magic.

But the magic of Christmas doesn't end there! From 16th November, once daily, guests can also watch an exuberant get-together in Town Square, where Mickey, Minnie and their friends, Santa Claus, Horace and Clarabelle will all make appearances and relish a sparkling, high-spirited reunion as well as Disney Animation characters such as Stitch and Pinocchio!

Just before the nighttime spectacular Disney Illuminations begins, the spirit of Christmas will be celebrated over Sleeping Beauty Castle with the famous Disney Electrical Sky Parade, which has won the Parksmania Award for European Top New Attraction 2024. For this special occasion, the finale will bathe guests in a festive atmosphere, with Christmas colours lighting up the castle, the famous Nutcrackers, decorated Christmas trees, gifts, and even giant candy canes. Freshly added scenes will pay tribute to the “it's a small world” attraction, decked out in winter hues, and also to the North Pole. Indeed, Main Street, U.S.A. will dazzle wonderfully brightly, enhanced by fairytale falls of snow.

AN UNFORGETTABLE NEW NIGHTTIME SPECTACULAR COMING TO DISNEYLAND PARK ON 10TH JANUARY 2025

From early next year, an all-new nighttime spectacular will enchant guests of all ages every day at Disneyland Park. With a magical combination of iconic songs and projections of Disney characters onto Sleeping Beauty Castle, guests will go on a journey filled with emotion and nostalgia, discovering that true magic lies within every moment of life!

Marking a notable first in the history of nighttime spectaculars at Disneyland Paris, the featured story will incorporate Main Street, U.S.A. AT THE HEART OF DISNEY HALLOWEEN FESTIVAL

Guests will be immersed into a frightfully fun experience filled of mischievous encounters, devilish shows and thrilling attractions, in a bewitching programme that will lead to unforgettable memories. The experience will be further enhanced by spellbinding decorations, dreadfully delicious food, and souvenirs so nice that children and grown-ups alike will shiver with delight. All of this will be available in the Parks, Disney Hotels, and Disney Village at Disneyland Paris.

IN AN EERIE SETTING, DISNEY CHARACTERS WILL DON THEIR MOST BEWITCHING ATTIRE
Disneyland Paris will be transformed thanks to spellbinding Halloween decorations:  330 grinning pumpkins adorned with nearly 175 metres of garlanded lights, 13,262 flowers and foliage items and over 50 lanterns, creating a scene bathed in blazing autumnal colours. Don't forget the adorable little ghosts who will greet guests as they enter Disneyland Park. In this horribly hilarious atmosphere, pranksters of all ages can come face-to-face with the scary crew of Disney Villains – Cruella, Maleficent, Jafar, Gaston, Captain Hook, the Queen of Hearts, and, for the first time, Mother Gothel from the Walt Disney Animation Studios movie Tangled. And don't miss this rare opportunity to uncover the secret of eternal youth with Mother Gothel and perhaps immortalise the occasion – a moment not to be missed. Among other new additions, guests will be able to meet with Miguel from the Pixar Animation Studios movie Coco in Frontierland, as he returns from his experience in the Land of the Dead – an astonishing and vividly colorful realm – and admire Stitch in his new vampire outfit, as he's now ready to tour Discoveryland.

Throughout Disney Halloween Festival, Mickey's Halloween Celebration cavalcade will showcase the Mischief Makers – Goofy, Chip 'n' Dale and their friends – who will parade twice daily on several floats, accompanied by 80 artists and characters to the sound of exhilarating music. Although Daisy will kick-off the harvest season, other unique characters such as Clarabelle and Horace will appear in a world full of pumpkins, mushrooms, colorful foliage, lanterns and hay bales. The centrepiece of the cavalcade will be Mickey's Illusion Manor float that treads the ambiguous line between illusion and reality, with Mickey's sudden and magical changes of attires and the presence of the mysterious Melanie Ravenswood and the Ravenswood Manor Phantom – straight from Phantom Manor attraction.
