SANDBOX VR – SURFERS PARADISE

Sandbox VR, a full-body virtual reality entertainment experience, has opened their 50th location, and first Australian location, on the Gold Coast. Sandbox VR's socially immersive gaming experience combines full-body motion capture and high-quality haptics to provide unprecedented realism and complete immersion, taking group virtual reality gameplay and active socialising to the next level.

The Gold Coast location is an entertainment space featuring four private rooms, enabling groups of up to six players to have a truly shared experience, exploring virtual worlds and relying on each other to succeed in games designed to be social experiences.

Lars Bar & Grill is the newest addition to Nobby Beach's boutique retail, dining and lifestyle village, The Oxley 1823. Owner and Head Chef, Lars Kollrepp, is the son of Gold Coast hospitality royalty, Marty Kollrepp, and brings over two decades of experience to his new venture. Offering woodfired steak and fresh local seafood, the modern Australian restaurant encompasses a custom wood fire grill and a dry-aged cool room. With a focus on warmth, inclusivity, and creating an unforgettable dining experience, Lars Bar & Grill aims to make locals feel at home and visitors feel like old friends, all while embracing the laid-back spirit of the Gold Coast.

VITALITY SPA CENTRE AT EDEN HEALTH RETREAT – CURRUMBIN VALLEY

'LE PETIT CHEF' AT HILTON SURFERS PARADISE – SURFERS PARADISE

For a limited time, the globally renowned dinner theatre, 'Le Petit Chef', is available to experience at the Hilton Surfers Paradise. Guests can expect excellent gastronomy, along with a unique and sophisticated 3D show on their plate, starring a 58mm tall chef. Between meals, the table is unobtrusively transformed into a screen, whereupon the little chef entertains with various performances. When the food is on the table, the show moves into the background and the curtain goes up for regional and international delicacies. The experience offers a preselected menu with a variety of mouthwatering dishes and is available Wednesday to Saturday, until mid-December.
