Vialattea Now Open for High-Altitude Summer Adventures

Vialattea is delighted to announce that three of its lifts located across Sestiere and Sauze d'Oulx are now open to the public on select dates for the summer season until Sunday 01 September. Whether trekking to ancient monuments, enjoying high-altitude cycling, or visiting one of Europe's highest golf courses, Vialattea has something for everyone to enjoy this summer.

Explore Monte Fraiteve's breathtaking scenery on two wheels... 

With Vialattea's bike-friendly lifts, taking to the slopes on two wheels this summer has never been easier. Catering to both adventure seekers and more leisurely riders alike, Vialattea's lifts are equipped with extension kits and offer bike corners near the departure stations, so visitors can explore the destination's cycling routes at their own pace. From cycling the summit of Monte Fraiteve for a 360° Alpine view, to discovering the Col Basset, cycling fanatics can enjoy endless adventures.

Discover Alpine heritage on Vialattea's hiking trails... 

This summer, visitors can explore a variety of high-altitude paths with stunning landscapes, from relaxed walks to more challenging routes with elevations of up to 3,000 metres. Hikers can explore countless trails, with the opportunity to uncover ancient fortifications, historical monuments, chalets, and small churches along the way, providing insight into the ancient traditions of these Alpine villages. Tailored itineraries can also be arranged by local tourism boards to cater to every adventure, with walking guides on hand for hikers needing a little extra support as they navigate the breathtaking scenery of the Cottian Alps.

Practice golf swings at one of Europe's highest mountain golf courses... 

Sitting at a height of 2,035 metres, Sestrieres Golf Club is one of Europe's highest and most picturesque mountain golf courses, with an 18-hole par 65 course promising the ultimate challenge for professionals and amateurs alike. The summer 2024 season features a distinguished schedule of events, with the golf course set to host 30 days of elite competitions across the summer months. For those who would prefer to refine their technique, expert golf instructors will be available throughout the summer, offering lessons for all skill levels.

  • Sportinia Chairlift: 13-14, 20-21 July, and 27 July to 25 August 
  • Rocce Nere Chairlift: 03-25 August
