Aligned with the theme “Forging Connections” , the 4th WITC aims to make history by uniting key industry players, strengthening strategic alliances, and driving future growth within Malaysia and beyond, especially with the upcoming Visit Malaysia 2026. The conference is expected to attract 500 participants from the tourism, hospitality, transportation, and Halal-related industries, fostering discourse among cross-industry experts.
The theme “Forging Connections” will focus on four key areas: Understanding Muslim Tourists, Muslim-friendly Travel and Community, Growth and Opportunity, and Inclusivity. Participants will gain insights from a line-up of renowned experts including:

Earlier this year, Malaysia was once again ranked as the Top Muslim-Friendly Destination (OIC) in the Mastercard-Crescent Rating Global Muslim Travel Index (GMTI) Report, maintaining its position since 2015. This accolade highlights Malaysia as an ideal destination for Muslim travelers, boasting an established MFTH ecosystem, rich culture, natural beauty, and modern attractions, suitable for both leisure and business Muslim travelers.
The Muslim tourist market, the primary audience of Islamic Tourism and MFTH and the focus of WITC, is projected to reach a substantial USD 225 billion by 2028, signaling the sector's promising outlook.

Established in 2009, Islamic Tourism Centre (ITC) is an entity under the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture, Malaysia (MOTAC), tasked to develop the Islamic Tourism segment for Malaysia.
