SwimTrek, the world's leading swimming holiday operator, is excited to announce an exciting swimming challenge as its employees take on a 50 km swim around the island of Guernsey, in partnership with VisitGuernsey. This collaboration aims to highlight the stunning coastal beauty of Guernsey while promoting outdoor activity and tourism.

The Challenge

The SwimTrek team will swim a total distance of 32 miles (51.5 kilometres), navigating the scenic yet challenging waters surrounding Guernsey. This swim will see the SwimTrek team doing what they love whilst inspiring others to explore open water swimming in one of the most picturesque locations in the British Isles.

Event Details:

Date: The swim is scheduled to take place on 24th July 2024

Route: The team will circumnavigate the island of Guernsey, starting and ending at St. Peter Port. The route will pass through iconic landmarks such as Castle Cornet, the cliffs of Jerbourg, and the beautiful beaches of Vazon Bay.

Participants:  A diverse group of SwimTrek employees, ranging from seasoned open water swimmers to enthusiastic newcomers, will partake in this challenge. Each member brings their unique skills and determination to complete this epic swim.

VisitGuernsey, the official tourism board of Guernsey, has partnered with SwimTrek to support this event. This collaboration underscores a shared commitment to promoting Guernsey as a premier destination for adventure tourism and outdoor activities.
