Michelin-Starred Samrub Samrub Thai Takes Over Dining on the Rocks this August
Chef Prin Polsuk of Bangkok's newly minted Michelin-starred Samrub Samrub Thai takes over Six Senses Samui's signature restaurant, Dining on the Rocks, for two evenings this August to showcase Chef Prin's unique cooking concept.
Chef Prin's culinary principles is to preserve traditional Thai cooking techniques and long-lost recipes dated back to the era of King Rama VI and reinterpret them using seasonal local ingredients embodying his ethos of living in harmony with nature's cycles. His menu for this take over in Samui will also link with how local fishermen enjoy their cuisine, in which Chef Prin and his team previously had their experiences first-hands.
The menu on the night will be family-sharing style reflecting how Thai people appreciate their hearty family cuisine. Priced at THB 3,800++ per person, food only, including three starters, four main dishes served with Jasmine rice, and a combo dessert. Those wishing to enhance the flavours even more can opt for Thai-inspired tropical cocktails or wine-pairing options.
This take over will be held on August 8 and 10, 2024 with two seatings available at 6:00 pm and 8:30 pm, where Chef Prin will share his secrets 30 minutes just before each dinner session commences.
