This autumn, get ready to raise your steins and toast a weekend of Bavarian tradition as Fredericksburg, Texas, hosts its annual Oktoberfest from October 4th - 6th, 2024. Nestled in the heart of the Texas Hill Country, Fredericksburg is set to transform into a colourful celebration of German culture, complete with authentic music, food, and activities for all ages.

Founded in 1846 by German immigrants, Fredericksburg has preserved its cultural roots, which remain evident today in its architecture, cuisine, local traditions and the warm hospitality of the community.

Tickets: The festival typically runs from 6 p.m. to midnight on Friday, 10 a.m. to midnight on Saturday, and from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday. Ticket prices are $10 for adults, while children 7-12 are $1, and children six and under are free. A two-day pass can be purchased for $20 and a three-day pass is $25.

Indulge in an array of traditional German dishes, from bratwursts and pretzels to sauerkraut and schnitzels. Wash it all down with a variety of German craft beers and local brews, served in classic beer steins for a true Oktoberfest experience.
