The latest addition to the get lost magazine line-up – our new favourite (don't tell the others), digital issue 17 is live! Much like the 16 issues before it, this one packs a visual and written punch with outstanding video, imagery and travel writing.

Editor Tim McGlone flies two-and-a-half hours east of Sydney to Norfolk Island for the 168th instalment of Bounty Day, which celebrates what surely must be the most unique origin story of any place on Earth. There's adventure, surfing, hiking, singing and even a 'best beard' competition – all caught on film.

Videographer Tim Charody travels to South Africa to pick up a global award for our K'gari feaure and drops into Sabi Sabi, a five-star lodge like few others located on its own exclusive reserve. While there, he encounters wildlife quite happily drinking out of his suite's private swimming pool.

We also head to the US of A to explore Seattle and Washington state where we quickly realise inside is out and outside is very much in. This West Coast hotspot is the ultimate destination for the outdoorsy and we've got 10 absolutely "must do's" to get your nature fix on..

The latest digital issue also includes:

  • Our signature 'Special Section', a guide to 11 of the world's most insane journeys; from jumping aboard a coal train across West Africa to traversing Pakistan's landscapes by tuk-tuk.
  • The ultimate Ireland road trip: 12 extraordinary experiences along the Wild Atlantic Way.
  • An interview with surfing legend, Jamie O'Brien.
  • We tour the newest, oldest distillery in New York City (it makes sense, trust us).
  • The weirdest & most wonderful stays from around the world. You're gonna want to see the hotel we found in Finland.
  • We found some seriously epic cinema spots – fancy a cliffside flick?
  • The announcement of the winner of our OM Digital “Frame Your View” competition.
  • So much more…

We welcome back our friends at OM-System Cameras and World Nomads who are reprising their roles as distribution partners to give the digital publication a global reach of over 1.5 million readers.

“I really love what we've created in this issue. We went back and forth a bit wanting to get it right, and thankfully each piece came together to perfectly showcase the journey, experience, road trip or destination featured. Both Tim's created such amazing videos and the feedback already from our partners and subscribers has been amazing.” – Justin Jamieson, Publisher.

“I know I said the last issue was the sickest, but this one takes the cake. We've packed so much good stuff into this one: there's unique celebrations, wild antics in South Africa, tips from a surfing pro and blockbuster experiences worthy of an oscar or two. Don't believe me? Read it” – Tim McGlone, Editor.
