The Dell partners with Ballintaggart Farm Restaurant
The Dell of Abernethy has partnered with the luxury Ballintaggart Farm Restaurant to provide all private dining from hereon. Guests staying at the rural retreat in the Scottish Highlands will be able to book a private dinner by Ballintaggart in the Dell's Tipi or cosied up in the Lodge Kitchen. With a focus on simple luxury, Ballintaggart menus are packed with local produce that reflect the seasons and showcase some of Scotland's finest ingredients. Guests can expect a keen eye on provenance, seasonal and sustainable produce, exciting and honest menus, food over fire and refined hospitality. There'll also be popping up with a food stall at The Dell's famous Sunday Social, an annual public event and big get together with music and more before all the kids go back to school.
Summer savings at The Dell
The Dell is offering 30 percent off on all remaining availability throughout summer, and with warmer weather on its way, it's the perfect spot for exploring the natural beauty the Cairngorms has to offer. Or if guests don't want to venture far, they are spoiled with a number of nature trails and lovely loch dips right on the doorstep. They also have their 'Gather Inn' pub nights running every Friday, as well as bikes to hire and the on-site 'Dell Grocer' full of every summer and whimsical need; icy cold bottles of organic wine, house made ready meals, and bows and arrows for the kids.
Wellness in the Wilds
Looking beyond summer, there will be a new wild wellness area by autumn fit with a Jacuzzi, large sauna and icy cold buckets to dunk in, and come November The Dell will host its first Dell curated 'Wintering' retreat (25-29 Nov). Four blissful days of cosy immersion tuning into the wisdom of how to 'winter' well, with slow, candlelit practices, nature walks, fireside Nidra and deeply nourishing soul food. There'll also be optional classes in cookery with a focus on nutritional meal planning, crafting and a beautiful walking sound meditation and massage add on. This is for anyone wishing to start the year in a considered way, rather than juicing, fasts or detoxes, offering something more meaningful and sustainable and leaving more aligned, more connected and re-charged for the year ahead.
Prices at The Dell start from £160 for Little Dell Cottage for two people. To book, please visit the website.
