Achieving over 12% of the vote (133,885 votes), travellers from around the world ranked Monaco in 2nd position out of 500 European destinations. Organised by the non-profit organisation Best European Destinations, and based on the vote of over one million travellers from 172 countries, Monaco has been ranked second best destination to visit in Europe in 2024, ahead of Geneva, London and Florence. This year's #2 destination, Monaco, was shortlisted as a Sustainable Destination for its commitment to sustainable tourism and protection of the ocean.
