LAVENDER SLEEP RETREAT

At Maslina Resort, the Lavender Sleep retreat is the perfect chance to reset your body clock and savour the power of natural lavender to enhance sleep to its fullest potential. From cycling through lavender fields to foraging in the garden, lavender-inspired wellness treatments and much more, the Lavender Sleep Retreat is designed to showcase the healing properties of lavender, enhancing overall sleep and relaxation. 

Hvar Island celebrates an annual Lavender Festival every July, where the plant takes centre stage - a highlight of the summer calendar. The island has more than 600 wild medicinal, aromatic, and honey plant species and Maslina's Sleep Retreat homes in on lavender's unwavering ability to improve sleep quality. It has long been known to contribute to improved sleep patterns and increased time spent in deep or slow-wave sleep. MASLINA VILLA EXPERIENCE

Guests can enjoy seven nights in the villa of choice with complimentary local olive oil and Croatian wine tasting. These exclusive villas bring Maslina's Pharomatiq Wellness to the doorstep with a poolside sunset sound healing concert and guests are given a €50 voucher per person for the wellness haven. The bespoke Villa Experience offer includes a roundtrip car transfer from Hvar/Stari Grad port and a roundtrip boat transfer from Split on Maslina's custom Colnago 45 TS speedboat.  

The Villas – Litica, Borovina, and Uvala – are pristinely located along the seashore, where you can enjoy endless sea views from each room. Ample indoor and outdoor living spaces, private heated infinity pools, and lush gardens frame the exquisite aquamarine sea. EXCLUSIVE DINING BY THE SEA

Breathtaking sunsets over Maslinica Bay set the stage for an unforgettable romantic evening on the Adriatic Sea. Dine under the sunset-coloured sky on a private seaside platform, adorned with candlelight and enchanting decor to enhance the intimate ambiance. 

Indulge in a sumptuous four-course mindful moment of culinary excellence from Chef Bogomil Križ, meticulously curated to the guests' desires, complemented by a glass of champagne, ensuring a culinary journey unlike any other.  

Priced at €250 per person for four courses, this exclusive experience is designed for two guests, with the option to accommodate up to four guests if requested.

HVAR ISLAND EXCURSIONS

The island of Hvar is filled with thrilling excursions and cultural gems, beckoning to be explored. Each of the handpicked adventures can be tailored to meet a guest's needs and include diving into the island's interior, uncovering its wine, lavender, and olive history and its UNESCO heritage, or island hopping around spectacular bays and caves. 

Whether by land or sea, Hvar exploration begins at the Guest Experience Stone, where Maslina Resort's expert team can organise speedboat excursions to the nearby islands while diving, snorkelling, paddleboarding, windsurfing, and kitesurfing are some of the most popular water activities on the Adriatic Coast. The region is also ideal for trekking, with many hiking paths connecting the southern and northern parts of the island through olive trees, lavender fields, and vineyards or can be enjoyed by bicycle. 

For a leisurely ride, guests can be picked up in a tuk-tuk and be driven to Vrboska where they will spend time exploring Hvar's own 'Little Venice'. They then travel via Vitarnja (a coastal road from Vrboska to Jelsa) to enjoy spectacular views from the island's northern part. Once they arrive in Jelsa, guests can choose to have an optional wine tasting at Duboković Winery. The tour continues to the picturesque villages of Svirče, Pitve, Vrisnik, and Vrbanj, following the path of UNESCO's protected intangible cultural heritage Za križen. This route offers a unique perspective of Hvar's agricultural, historical, and gastronomical aspects, where a tour guide will fully dig into the best of the destination. The tour ends with a stop in the old village of Dol before heading back to Maslina Resort – simply sensational!

Classic French techniques are enhanced with Mediterranean elements, infused with local herbs and seasonal ingredients. Supporting Maslina Resort's 'mindful luxury' philosophy, the culinary focus of The Restaurant embraces the UNESCO-protected Mediterranean diet but adds a contemporary flair with many ingredients being harvested from the resort's 7,000 sqm Organic Garden. Daily à la carte menus with tasting menu options are complemented by international wines, spirits, and classic and craft cocktails inspired by the island of Hvar – all served in the dining room or poolside terrace.

GETTING THERE

Many airlines, including British Airways, Easy Jet, Jet 2, and Whizz Air, fly directly to Split from many regional and London airports. The flight time is approximately two hours and 30 minutes. From Split Airport, the transfer by speed boat takes 60 minutes. Dubrovnik and Brač airports are also nearby. Private car and speedboat transfers can be arranged from any of these locations.
