From June 11 to 13, the state of Mato Grosso do Sul (MS), Brazil, will be present at AdventureELEVATE North America 2024, the annual conference on ecotourism and adventure tourism organized by the Adventure Travel Trade Association (ATTA), held in Asheville, North Carolina, USA.
Bruno Wendling, Director and CEO of the Tourism Authority of Mato Grosso do Sul, discusses the initiatives carried out in the second consecutive year that Mato Grosso do Sul participates in AdventureELEVATE North America.
"This is a market we have highly prioritized in the past two years in this new management cycle, including representation in the United States, which is our main international source market by air. It is a very important and well-segmented event. We will have a highlighted participation as one of the event's sponsors. We will have a dedicated space for the destination presentation and will launch for the first time a new campaign for Mato Grosso do Sul, which is a storytelling project produced in collaboration with a North American production company. We created two pieces of content, and at the event, we will release the content about the Pantanal to further strengthen our biome and we will also talk about Bonito/Serra da Bodoquena in our presentation," Wendling explains.
The AdventureELEVATE North America event brings together key tourism players from the Americas, such as tour operators, travel advisors, media representatives, and sector partners, as well as international tourism boards and representatives. The event also presents opportunities for significant relationships with relevant international markets, associations, and specialized media, bringing visibility and projection for Mato Grosso do Sul as an international tourist destination. The aim is to build and maintain business relationships that positively impact the increase of tourist flow to Mato Grosso do Sul.
"We are very optimistic about our participation in the marketplace as well, which includes individual presentation sessions with the tour operators attending the event, along with all the networking we will engage in during the three days we will be there," concludes Wendling.
