Topgolf to open in Pier Park

High-tech golf entertainment complex Topgolf is set to open a new 38,000-square-foot facility in Panama City Beach's Pier Park area in spring 2025. New accessible beach access point
Due to be completed by July 2024
A new accessible beach access point will open on Surf Drive, towards the west of Panama City Beach, enhancing the visitor experience. Bay County Parks and Recreation and Visit Panama City Beach have teamed up to convert Beach Access 22 into a new ADA-accessible point, and will include disabled parking spaces, accessible mats that will roll down to the beach, and accessible showers.
Bicycle Lanes on Back Beach Road
Development ongoing through 2024
Back Beach Road is currently undergoing a multi-phase expansion project that will include new bicycle lanes and pavements for locals and visitors to enjoy. In addition to enhancing the destination's walkability, the project aims to reduce traffic congestion and improve safety.
Two New Hotels
Coming soon (2024)
With the tourism industry continuing to boom in Panama City Beach, two new hotels are due to open in the coming months. A 121-suite Residence Inn by Marriott has opened close to the popular Pier Park shopping and entertainment district, and the Tru by Hilton will open on Panama City Beach Parkway, offering a vibrant, affordable lodging option that blends both comfort and functionality, with a streamlined design and an array of amenities for travellers.
