QT Gold Coast celebrates four new accolades awarded at the Queensland Hotels Association (QHA) 2024 Awards for Excellence including the prestigious Overall Hotel of the Year – Accommodation Division award, held on Monday 3 June. 

Now in its 31st year, the QHA Awards for Excellence are widely celebrated as one of Queensland's top industry events. This prestigious night unites hotels from across the state to honour the vibrant industry and acknowledge those who have demonstrated outstanding achievement. 

Beginning the evening as finalists in five of 47 categories, the night concluded with QT Gold Coast taking out four awards.  The recognition celebrates the designer playground's refreshed conferencing and event spaces, accommodation offering, innovative dining experiences and their unique people.  

The awards are as follows:  
• Overall Hotel of the Year – Accommodation 
• Best Meeting and Events Venue 
• Best Restaurant, Accommodation Division – Yamagen  
• Chef of the Year – Daniel King, Head Pastry Chef
