Wake Up! Hostels has added a number of top awards to its growing trophy cabinet, at Hostelworld's 2023 HOSCARs Awards, winning a series of awards including Best Hostel Chain in Oceania and Most Popular Hostel in Sydney.
After previously being crowned Best Hostel in Australia, Wake Up! Sydney's determination to provide the finest accommodation experience has again been recognised, taking out the titles of Most Popular Hostel in Sydney and Best Extra Large Hostel in Oceania.

Since opening in 2020 after a major renovation, Wake Up! Bondi Beach has proved to be a winner among sea-loving backpackers around the world, this year being named Best Medium Hostel in Oceania.

Wake Up! Byron Bay has held its position as not only one of the top hostels along the East Coast, but the Best Large Hostel in Oceania. Having completed a resort-worthy renovation in late 2023, with the addition of a heated swimming pool and pool bar, the property is set to only increase in its admiration and positive reputation throughout 2024.

About Wake Up! Sydney
The eight-storey heritage building, centrally located on the corner of Pitt and George Streets opposite Sydney's Central Station, was purchased by Millett Group from the State Rail Authority of NSW.
