Accor remains first-class accommodation Partner of Pacific Airshow

Accor

Pacific Airshow Gold Coast is thrilled to announce a two-year partnership extension with Australia's largest hotel operator, Accor, as the official accommodation partner of the event.

Building on the phenomenal success of its debut in 2023, Pacific Airshow Gold Coast is set to return to Surfers Paradise from 16 to 18 August 2024.

With a sell-out event, which drew a staggering crowd of close to 250,000 last year, this year promises to be even more spectacular, with plans to expand the event along the iconic beachfront.

As part of the partnership, Accor is offering Airshow fans the best rates when joining Accor's lifestyle loyalty programme, ALL – Accor Live Limitless, where they can save with a special Members' Rate and earn points on every stay at brands like Peppers, Novotel, Mantra, BreakFree and Sofitel.

With Accor's perfectly positioned hotels, apartments, and resorts, right in the heart of Surfers Paradise and along the coastal strip, it's the perfect offering to all visitors including families, groups, and corporate bookings, who wish to stay in the best accommodation right on the doorstep of the Airshow.

Kevin Elliott, CEO of Code Four and Pacific Airshow Director said he was proud to have Accor on board as PAGC's official accommodation partner for another two years.

“We are excited to once again partner with the Gold Coast's largest hotel operator, Accor, for the next two years. We believe this represents the strength of our event and to have the support from Accor backs up the impact our Airshow has on the local community.”

“In 2023, we saw accommodation occupancy hit 90% capacity in Surfers Paradise, with our Airshow contributing to over 100,000 room night stays across the three-days.

“Pacific Airshow is all about families and bringing colour and fun to the Gold Coast. We would love to see visitors coming for the Airshow then stay on to experience some of the other incredible attractions and wonders of this beautiful city and in turn, see the local economy thrive off the event.

“Accor's renowned hotels, resorts and apartments perfectly complement the high-quality experience we aim to provide for our guests during the Pacific Airshow Gold Coast each year.

“Accor is the perfect accommodation partner for our event and we really look forward to growing this partnership and being able to offer our Airshow fans a great experience away from the beach all year round,” said Elliott.

Accor Pacific Chief Operating Officer PM&E, Adrian Williams, said the partnership extension demonstrates Accor's commitment to the Gold Coast as a premier global events destination.

“We're delighted to announce the extension of our partnership with Pacific Airshow Gold Coast for a further two years. This exhilarating event seamlessly aligns with our commitment to delivering unparalleled experiences for our guests.

“We love the impact major events like these have on a destination. Last year's event generated a surge of activity on the Gold Coast, which created an electric atmosphere across the city, filling our hotels, restaurants and bars.”

For a VIP experience, Accor will be turning Hyde Paradiso at Peppers Soul Surfers Paradise over to Airshow guests who will be able to rub shoulders with performers, crew and VIPs enjoying a taste of Australian hospitality every day throughout the event.

The Paradise Lounge X Hyde Paradiso tickets, priced from $420 includes a General Admission pass to watch the action on the beach, a hosted experience of the Airshow with views over the show centre, and include morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and a beverage package.
