NEW HARBOUR AIR BUTCHART GARDENS TOUR – LAUNCHING 12 JUNE
Launching 12 June, the new Butchart Gardens Flights 'n' Flowers half-day tour will be offered from Wednesday to Sunday until 15 September. This 30-minute scenic seaplane service will operate from downtown Vancouver to The Butchart Gardens on Vancouver Island. Travellers will enjoy a flight over B.C.'s extraordinary coast followed by unparalleled access to the breathtaking floral displays and serene landscapes of this world-famous 55-acre attraction. The tour includes a flight to the gardens, two hours of admission to explore the grounds, and a return flight to downtown Vancouver. From CAN$499 per person.
MUSEUM OF ANTHROPOLOGY TO RE-OPEN, 13 JUNE
A place of world-class arts with an emphasis on the First Nations peoples and their culture, the Museum of Anthropology at the University of British Columbia is set to re-open following an 18-month closure for extensive upgrades to its Great Hall, coupled with the revitalisation and reinterpretation of displays of Northwest Coast Indigenous carvings, poles, weavings and other works from the past and present. Along with the Museum's reopening, MOA will present two exhibitions sharing Indigenous perspectives on colonial history in Pursuit of Venus [infected] (Western Canada premiere) by famed Māori artist, Lisa Reihana and To Be Seen, To Be Heard: First Nations in Public Spaces, 1900–1965 (world premiere). MOA's reopening this summer coincides with the 75th anniversary of the Museum's opening to the public.

BARD ON THE BEACH, 11 JUNE TO 21 SEPTEMBER
Bard on the Beach is Western Canada's largest not-for-profit, professional Shakespeare Festival. Presented in Vancouver's Sen̓ákw/Vanier Park against a spectacular backdrop of mountains, sea and sky, the festival offers Shakespeare plays, related dramas and special events in two modern performance tents. The 2024 Season will bring four magnificent productions to life: Twelfth Night, Hamlet, The Comedy of Errors and Measure for Measure.
THE CELEBRATION OF LIGHT, 20, 24, 27 JULY
The Celebration of Light delivers a three-day lineup of pyrotechnics put on by teams from around the world for a jaw-dropping show. Some of the city's best food trucks will also be on hand, showcasing an array of culinary diversity.

The Vancouver Mural Festival is an annual outdoor celebration of public art, with new murals across metro Vancouver, pop-up events and a street party on Mount Pleasant.

AUDAIN ARTIST DINNER SERIES RETURNS THIS SUMMER
This summer, one of the most highly sought-after experiences of the season is the Audain Artist Dinner Series. This event is inspired by the artwork featured in the Audain Art Museum's Special Exhibition, Tom Thomson: North Star opening 29 June. This all-inclusive dinner includes a signature cocktail reception, dinner with wine pairings, plus an exclusive tour of the Special Exhibition. More details coming soon.
WILD BLUE LONG TABLE DINNERS, 7 July & 18 August
Following its inaugural event in 2023, this year will see Wild Blue host a series of long table dinners throughout the summer in the heart of Whistler Village, and just steps from the award-winning restaurant at The Range at the Whistler Golf Club. Chef Alex Chen and Executive Chef Derek Bendig have designed an exceptional four-course menu focused on local, seasonal ingredients from the land and sea of the west coast. With support from Wild Blue's prestigious winery partners, each course has been expertly paired by Wine Director and Sommelier Kathryn Woods. The celebration is hosted by Restaurant Director and Partner Neil Henderson.

NEW RV PARK & CAMPGROUND OPEN AT WHISTLER OLYMPIC PARK
Whistler Olympic Park RV & Campground returns for a second season having opened last summer in the heart of the Callaghan Valley, just south of Whistler. This new camping destination surrounded by forests and mountain views offers spacious full-service and non-serviced sites to call home during a visit to the Sea to Sky. The campground is open from June through September and is bookable online.

THE GONDOLA GALLERY BY EPIC: OUTDOOR ART CELEBRATES DIVERSITY IN SKI AND SNOWBOARD CULTURE
Vail Resorts has commissioned artists to create original artwork that wraps four gondola cabins across Park City Mountain in Utah, Stowe Mountain Resort in Vermont, and Whistler Blackcomb in British Columbia, respectively. These one-of-a-kind art installations are an invitation and message of inclusion to all. At Whistler Blackcomb the two Gondola Gallery art installations feature on the PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola. These include Wings of Thunder by Chief Janice George and Buddy Joseph of Squamish Nation, whose artwork depicts the techniques of weaving. And Red by Levi Nelson of Lil'wat Nation, which depicts a sacred colour representing the lifeblood of Indigenous people and their connection to the Earth, along with shapes that are inspired by Nelson's ancestors.
SUMMER SALISH CARVING SERIES 2024 AT THE SLCC
Over the summer of 2024, the Squamish Lil'wat Cultural Centre (SLCC) will host the Summer Salish Carving Series featuring Lil'wat Nation Master Carver Jonathan Joe mentoring Apprentice Redmond Q̓áwam̓ Andrews. Live carving from 21 June – 1 September, to carve the sister pole to stand alongside the house post carved by Xwalacktun and Brandon Hall of the Squamish Nation in 2023.

Whistler Mountain Bike Park, the ultimate gravity-fed downhill biking experience, opens 17th May and celebrates its 25th anniversary in 2024. All ability levels are catered to with four mountain zones, green trails, technical double blacks and jump trails. Crankworx Whistler returns 19-28 July 2024. Born in Whistler in 2004, Crankworx evolved into a multi-stop international festival, bringing together the best mountain bike athletes in competition in a variety of disciplines, as well as hosting races for amateurs, Kidsworx contests, participatory events, and celebrations of mountain bike culture.
