22 April 2024 – Shangri-La Group is thrilled to announce the appointment of Kieran Twomey as the new Regional Head of Operations for the Middle East, India, Indian Ocean, Europe, and the Americas (MEIA). This strategic move underscores the Group's commitment to enhancing its brand presence, operational excellence, and sustainable growth across these critical markets.

Kieran Twomey is renowned for his extensive background and exceptional achievements in the hospitality industry. His journey with Shangri-La began in 1992, and over 25 years, he has held various leadership roles across the globe, including China, the Philippines, Malaysia and Thailand. 

The Shangri-La Group recognizes Kieran Twomey's appointment as a pivotal step towards reinforcing its strategic objectives in the MEIA region, aiming to strengthen the brand, enhance operational efficiencies, and drive profitable growth. His leadership is expected to further the Group's mission of offering heartfelt hospitality and memorable experiences to guests worldwide.
