Ultimate Winery Experiences Australia (UWEA) has welcomed on board a new winery member: sparkling wine specialist Chandon.

Established in 1986 and nestled in the tranquil heart of Victoria's Yarra Valley, Chandon offers a bespoke journey into the craftsmanship of exceptional sparkling wine. Located an hour from the Melbourne city centre and Tullamarine airport, Chandon's cellar door, restaurant, and wine lounge are set among the rolling hills of the Yarra Valley, offering breathtaking vineyard views.

Chandon is Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton's (LVMH) sparkling-wine Maison, founded in 1959 by Robert-Jean de Vogüé, a pioneer with the drive to redefine the category and craft exceptional sparkling wines in unexpected lands. Part of a global family of six Chandon wineries around the world, Chandon Australia was established in 1986 in the Yarra Valley and is rooted in the local terroir. Guests visiting Chandon can experience one of the most extensive ranges of méthode traditionnelle wines in the country.

Visitors to Chandon can learn the secrets behind the craft of sparkling winemaking with the Sparkling Brunch and Behind the Bubbles experience, which kicks off with an indulgent sparkling wine-matched brunch and ends with a hands-on immersive sparkling wine blending experience. Guests will savour delicacies like smoked salmon, prosciutto, coddled egg and potato rosti, along with French-style pastries and fresh fruit, before being guided into the stunning Riddling Hall to experience first-hand the skilful process behind bringing méthode traditionnelle bubbles to life.

For those seeking a relaxing long lunch experience, Indulge with Étoile offers a 7-course degustation menu perfectly paired with Chandon's new rarefied masterblend, Étoile. Diners will experience indulgent ingredients like Victorian rock lobster, Yarra Valley salmon caviar, Pacific oysters, and Brisbane Valley quail; each carefully selected to amplify the unique flavours, aromas and textural layers of Étoile.
