This year, Sofitel celebrates its 60th anniversary: 60 years of history, 60 years of passion, 60 years of authenticity. To commemorate its diamond jubilee in style, the brand now unveils an exclusive collaboration with the first responsible jeweler of the Place Vendôme: Courbet. The result: a unique jewelry line to elevate lab-grown diamonds to the status of icons, a luxurious expression of the shared values that unite the two Maisons.
Where beauty has a conscience
For 60 years, Sofitel has been committed to increasing its positive impact on the environment and local communities. It has done so through the ecological certification of its hotels, the removal of single-use plastics and the management of food waste. All of these values are shared by Courbet. Founded in 2018, it is the very first Maison of the Place Vendôme to focus on sustainability. Ethical and innovative, its distinctive jewelry are designed with the purest French know-how, merging cutting-edge technologies and respect for nature. This gives shape to lab-grown diamonds, accompanied by the same gemological certificates as their mined counterparts, and with the same qualities determined by the 4Cs: carat, cut, color and clarity. These stones are set on jewelry made of 18K recycled gold. Sublime aesthetics that meet the standards of the Place Vendôme, while upholding the stringent specifications of the Maison. These convictions struck a chord with Sofitel and rapidly united the two entities.
“At Sofitel, we believe in a hospitality where luxury goes hand in hand with sustainability: in other words, luxury that inspires not only through its elegance, but also through its commitment to environmental and societal responsibility. The partnership between Sofitel and Courbet seemed like a natural fit to celebrate our 60th anniversary, our diamond jubilee, bringing together two Maisons anchoring French excellence in an eco-conscious approach. From this encounter emerged an exclusive collection of jewelry, featuring Sofitel's logo in bracelets, necklaces, rings, earrings - pieces of jewelry that are both beautiful and socially responsible. We are thrilled to see this collaboration come to life today.” — Maud Bailly, CEO Sofitel Legend, Sofitel, MGallery and Emblems
Where splendor comes to life
This partnership gave form to 18 new jewelry creations. 18 jewelry pieces that each interpret the Sofitel symbol, the cultural link, in its own way: a delicate embrace of interlacing curves, creating an elegant symbol – a true emblem of the link that is woven between cultures all over the world. A logo that reflects the encounter of two cultures, two fields of expertise, two visions of excellence.

“We are honored to take part in this 60th anniversary celebration with Sofitel. Our two names represent a vision of what luxury should be in the future: more responsible and more eco-friendly, while highlighting unparalleled French know-how. With its strong symbolism and design, the Sofitel logo was an amazing inspiration for Courbet. It was a natural fit with the collection that we invented for this diamond jubilee. This collaboration perfectly illustrates our baseline: Without goodness, beauty means nothing.”
