• Headlining the festival in 2024 is Stephen Pigram, David Milroy and Lucky Oceans, Kankawa Nagarra (Olive Knight), Razzy Mak, Fred Ryan and
  festival favourite's, The Jamba Nyinayi Band featuring Hazel Walgar and Wes Mongoo, the Pundarra Performance Group and Coral Spawn Dancers.

• JNF 2024 introduces very limited on station, one and two night camping and intimate cultural experience packages located around the old Cardabia shearer's quarters (the Old Quarters).
  
  
  • One-night unpowered camping sites available on Friday 12 April for those looking to stay overnight after the Festival.
  • Two-night on station camping and cultural packages are available for Thursday 11 and Friday 12 April. These packages are extremely limited and come in two categories.
    • Happy Camper -4man tent set up ready for your arrival including bedding, access to the Old Quarters with toilets, showers and the Shearers' Quarters Bar presented by Whalebone Brewery, food and coffee trucks, intimate Campfire Sessions and Cultural Workshops. Happy Campers will also have selected meals included within the package; a traditional Baiyungu firepit cook up and breakfasts delivered by the Festival kitchen team with support from Indigenous cooks and volunteers.
    • Do It Yourself (DIY) Camper - unpowered sites with access to the Old Quarters including toilets, showers and the Shearers' Quarters Bar presented by Whalebone Brewery, food and coffee trucks, intimate Campfire Sessions and cultural workshops.

After a hugely successful inaugural event in 2023, Jamba Nyinayi Festival returns in 2024 on Friday 12 April, with the exciting new inclusion of one and two night, limited on-station cultural camping experiences. JNF will continue to be a family-friendly and community-focused main-stage event, located
on the Salt Flats at Carbabia Station in Coral Bay. JNF is available for all and free of charge, however
registration is essential. Bookings are now open! The Jamba Nyinayi Festival (JNF), owned by the not-for-profit Baiyungu Aboriginal Corporation (BAC), is a unique community festival featuring original and local Indigenous arts, music, entertainment, and cultural showcases, hosted and held on Baiyungu Country at Cardabia (Gunjayindiya) Station, just 5 minutes from Coral Bay, WA. The event's focus is on delivering intimate and inspirational cultural tourism activities shared by the Baiyungu people, Traditional Owners of the amazing World Heritage Nyinggulu (Ningaloo) region in WA.

JAMBA NYINAYI FESTIVAL 2024 THEME - A GATHERING PLACE
Hazel Walgar is a Baiyungu woman and the cultural elder of the Baiyungu Aboriginal Corporation, who has been nominated as Cultural Curator and Director of the JNF. Hazel's vision is for JNF to become an annual festival, celebrating a unique Baiyungu cultural story or 'theme' each year, using arts and cultural experiences to interpret, express and perform that story to the audience. The 2024 JNF theme is “A Gathering Place” and is about Cardabia (Gunjayindiya) Station itself. Prior to white settlement, Gunyayindiya was a special gathering place for the Traditional Owners and surrounding Indigenous communities. They would come together here for coastal holidays, rest a while, share and exchange stories, trade and celebrate through their ancient customs and traditions. “A Gathering Place” will thematically inform all activities and performances across the festival. Through this theme, JNF will celebrate and share these culturally, historically, and geographically rich stories of Gunjayindiya, and once again become a highly active and deeply meaningful gathering place. The Baiyungu Aboriginal Corporation, through the Jama Nyinayi Festival looks forward to hosting and
welcoming all people, from all nations and cultural backgrounds, to visit, share and 'rest a while' (Jamba Nyinayi) and 'walk together' as one on their land.

JNF FESTIVAL 2024 LINE UP
The 2024 Jamba Nyinayi Festival will showcase a remarkable line up of both local and nationally recognised Indigenous performers, with Artistic Director David Hyams and Dance Co-ordinator Janine Oxenham curating original music and dance to the festival's theme - A Gathering Place. Headlining the event in 2024 is iconic Australian Indigenous musician and songwriter, Stephen Pigram, award-winning playwright and musician, David Milroy, accompanied by multi-Grammy award-winning Lucky Oceans. Also gracing the breathtaking main stage is Walmatjarri Elder and Blues singer-songwriter Kankawa Nagarra (Olive Knight), West Australian born, Yamaji rapper Razzy Mak, and country singer/songwriter and guitarist, Fred Ryan, representing Western Australia's Murchison and Kimberley regions. Festival favourite's, The Jamba Nyinayi Band featuring Hazel Walgar and Wes Mongoo will have guests mesmerised, while local dancers from the Pundarra Performance Group and Coral Spawn Dancers will be showcasing original, contemporary, and traditional dance and storytelling around the 2024 theme “A Gathering Place”. Food and beverage trucks, alongside arts and craft stalls, will be available on site to service patrons, however guests are welcome to bring their own picnics, including chairs.
