Mantra Club Croc Airlie Beach unveils stunning coastal-inspired refurbishment

Accor

An $8 million refurbishment to transform all 160 guestrooms at Airlie Beach's iconic Mantra Club Croc has today been unveiled.

Owned by Well Smart Group and operated under Accor's popular Mantra brand, the resort's new interior design concept echoes seaside elegance, offering stylish boutique-style accommodation with coastal-inspired décor.

Situated close to the beachfront and Coral Sea Marina, Mantra Club Croc is housed in a traditional Queenslander-style building, providing guests with a glimpse into the region's rich past.

Accor Pacific Chief Operating Officer PME, Adrian Williams, said: “The transformation of all 160 guestrooms, coupled with the upcoming upgrades to other areas of the resort, solidifies Mantra Club Croc as a premier holiday destination, seamlessly blending historical charm with modern coastal flair. It has raised the bar on hotel accommodation, and elevated the guest experience, in the holiday hotspot of Airlie Beach."

“Accor and Well Smart Group have a long and successful relationship, and we are thrilled for the opportunity to partner with them again on this landmark refurbishment. Their incredible vision is evident in every detail of this project.”

Well Smart Group Director, Jack Jia, said: “Our commitment to continuous improvement underscores our dedication to providing a world-class tourism offering. The resort has been tailored to savvy leisure and business travellers who value immersive spaces, modern dining, and leading-edge design – it offers a seamless and intuitive experience, while providing access to the Whitsundays' famed blue waters, white sands and rugged green-clad islands.”

Notable features of the guestroom refurbishment include local photographers' artworks, pendant lighting, coastal-style wall panelling, a freestanding minibar, a robe with an open hanging rail and shelves, custom bedheads, and a storage banquette with an upholstered seat-pad. These carefully curated details contribute to an elevated and elegant guest experience.

In addition to the room upgrades, Mantra Club Croc now offers a reimagined room service offering, a new poolside cocktail service, and has received a full resort high speed Wi-Fi upgrade (which is provided complimentary to all guests). The resort refurbishment will also extend to the resort's reception area and poolside restaurant and bar later in the year.

Mantra Club Croc also boasts a large lagoon pool with adjoining spa and lush tropical gardens, gym, extensive complimentary parking for cars, trailers, caravans and boats, along with a conference centre that accommodates events from 20 to 200 delegates.
