Applicant guidelines
Tourism Fiji is responsible for promoting the destination of Fiji through world-class marketing, helping consumers, agents and media understand the beauty and character of the island nation.
Tourism accounts for almost 40% of the country's GDP, and tourism employs (both directly and indirectly) approximately one third of the nation's workforce, making it a hugely important sector for the economy of Fiji.
Australians make up almost half of all visitor arrivals to Fiji and is the biggest source market for the destination. During the 12 months of visitor arrivals from October 2022 to September 2023, there were 433,165 Aussies who visited Fiji. Fiji continues to be popular with Australians, and some of its key selling points are the proximity and safety of the destination, alongside the warmth of its 333 islands and the warmth of its people, making it the perfect destination for families and couples alike. It is a tropical destination of happiness, and as such, our brand is 'where happiness comes naturally'.
