Steering this landmark property towards new horizons is its newly appointed General Manager, Dalip Singh, a seasoned hotelier renowned for his global perspective and expertise.
For Singh, a Singaporean and an award-winning hospitality executive, his roots in the Lion City have never limited his global ambitions. His illustrious career, spanning over two decades, has taken him across the globe with prestigious hospitality groups. This extensive journey has taken him well beyond the fields of traditional hotel management, providing him with a far-reaching exposure and a unique perspective in delivering exceptional hospitality experiences.
Singh's professional journey serendipitously began with PPHG at Pan Pacific Singapore and has included a tenure at The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore, as well as several influential global positions. His roles have ranged from Acting Director of Rooms at Bulgari Resort, Bali, to pivotal positions on the pre-opening teams for The Ritz-Carlton and Dusit International, serving as General Manager at Dusit Residence Dubai Marina and as the Acting Group Director of Rooms for Dusit Hotels and Resorts worldwide.
Singh also held senior roles at YTL Hotels, where he was General Manager of the exclusive island destination of Pangkor Laut Resort and Pangkor Laut Estates. His responsibilities extended beyond conventional hotel operations to include the supervision of the Marine Division, where he managed a luxurious fleet of mega yachts and gulf crafts, along with oversight of Marine Engineering operations. Singh then went on to KOP Hospitality, where, as Managing Director, he was instrumental in driving the growth and profitability of the company's various business units. Concurrently, he served as Chief Executive Officer of the company's upscale family retreats Montigo Resorts, playing a strategic role in directing the brand's expansion and positioning.
Singh moved to Hong Kong in 2016 to take on the position of the Area General Manager for Marco Polo Hotels and under his leadership, the cluster of three hotels went on to gain various recognition for hospitality excellence.

Before assuming his current role, Singh was the General Manager at PARKROYAL Langkawi Resort, where his strategic vision significantly uplifted the property. Now, at Pan Pacific Orchard, he is entrusted with leading the flagship into a new era of luxury hospitality.
