Putten, November 21, 2023 - Restaurant De Vanenburg, located on the beautiful estate of WorldHotels Distinctive Kasteel De Vanenburg, will once again be in the Lekker500 in 2024!

For the fifth time in a row, the restaurant may take a spot in this prestigious list of 500 best restaurants in the Netherlands. "Truly every bite is a feast," describe the reviewers of the independent restaurant guide.

Restaurant De Vanenburg in Putten offers an exquisite fine dining experience with beautifully prepared plates, fresh seasonal produce and a unique view of the historic arboretum. "We are immensely proud of this team achievement!" says Bernhard Baan, General Manager at Kasteel De Vanenburg. "It is recognition for the culinary experience we offer to our guests and which is appreciated by them." Chef Richard Broersma also beams: "Every day, we are busy putting down the most culinary creations. This is, therefore, a very nice achievement of the kitchen team and the black brigade!"

High Praise for the Restaurant

Evidence of the high standard of cuisine is clear from the review of the Lekker: "From the kitchen of chef Richard Broersma, who cooks at a high level, come tasteful dishes with a French basis, laced here and there with modern touches." The seasonal surprise menu with matching wines is also very well received. The interaction between hosts and hostesses is also nicely balanced: "The welcome by hostess-sommelier Merel van der Leij is welcoming, relaxed and very cordial, and she remains so throughout the evening, without losing sight of a thing."

You can't get enough of the culinary indulgence: "Actually, we are full, but we still can't resist the homemade friandises on offer. What an indulgence! Beautiful location."

The rave reviews have brought much joy within the team of Kasteel De Vanenburg. "For the 5th year in a row in the Lekker, it's a huge milestone!" adds Bernhard. "We cordially invite everyone to our restaurant to also enjoy the surprising culinary creations!"
