Martin County Becomes First Tourism Office in Florida to Partner with Aira to Enhance Accessibility and Inclusivity

STUART, Fla. (November 15, 2023) – The Martin County Office of Tourism & Marketing is excited to announce its groundbreaking partnership with Aira, a cutting-edge accessibility technology that serves individuals who are blind or have low vision. This innovative collaboration marks Martin County as the first tourism office in the state of Florida to embrace Aira's services.

Prior to arrival, visitors can download the free Aira app to their smart phone and get access to a trained Visual Interpreter who can assist with remote trip planning including booking a trip online to visit Martin County. While visiting Martin County, visitors can use Aira to guide them through public buildings, attractions, restaurants, hotels, and more. Customers of Aira are referred to as Explorers, and this instant access to visual information at the touch of a button will enhance everyday efficiency, engagement, and independence.
