Among these honours, Peppina was awarded Best Wine List Tasmania 2023 and Australia's Best Listing of Tasmanian Wines 2023, and retained its prestigious Three Glass status in 2023 - awarded only to outstanding establishments by an expert judging panel. 

The Australian Wine List Of The Year Awards, is Australia's most prestigious Awards Program for Wine and Beverage Lists, giving recognition to and celebrating some of Australia's outstanding sommeliers and owners. The awards recognise the enormous investment by restaurant owners, managers and sommeliers in the time, skill and resources that go into developing the best quality wine lists and teams and the cellars behind them, while paying tribute to the dedication and talent of those individuals who create these lists for Australia's best restaurants, hotels, clubs, wine bars, pubs and cafes.

Head Sommelier at The Tasman's Award Winning Restaurant Peppina, Michael Fisher curated the extensive wine list of over 270 wines, that highlights wines of integrity from single vineyard producers, focusing on the quality of grapes. Finding its spiritual home in Tasmania, the wine list also features benchmark wines by wine-makers and grape-owners with Italian ancestry, from across Australia and the many regions of Italy.
