The Gambia Experience has been shortlisted in the Tour Operator of the Year – Small, as part of The Travel Industry Awards 2023 by TTG, widely regarded as the “Oscars” of the travel sector. 

The 2023 awards – in association with Gold Medal, Pure Luxury, Cruise Plus and Incredible Journeys - marks the third year of TTG's new-style awards programme, which champions smarter, better, fairer travel in line with TTG Media's mission. 

Judges from a panel of more than 60 travel industry experts will now meet in July to assess submissions and choose the winners. 

“The quality and variety of submissions for this year's Travel Industry Awards by TTG is a real testament to the innovation, dedication and business performance of the UK and Irish travel sector over the last 12 months,” said Daniel Pearce, CEO, TTG Media. 

“What's particularly exciting is the extent to which so many travel suppliers and travel agents are now aligning with TTG Media's own mission to work towards a smarter, better, fairer travel industry - for customers, for colleagues, and for the places and communities to which we travel – and we look forward to celebrating them in spectacular style on 28 September.”

Winners of The Travel Industry Awards 2023 by TTG will be revealed in a glamourous ceremony taking place at Magazine London on 28 September, with A-list entertainment, exquisite dining and plenty of surprises.
