Boutique resort, The Great House Antigua, is offering holidaymakers the opportunity to improve wellness or create a work of art with two retreats. The retreats will include sessions with local experts as well as time to relax or continue with exercise or painting.  The Wellness Retreat will run 1-24 July, while the Art Retreat is scheduled for 12-19 November.

WELLNESS RETREAT
The wellness retreat is centred around the resort and includes daily fitness classes on a beautiful deck overlooking the sea, two meditation classes, two nature hikes and healthy meals. The retreat will run from 17 to 24 July.

The Great House is the ideal setting for enhancing wellbeing. The hotel is set in 26 acres of peaceful grounds where the loudest sounds are bird song or the breeze. There are plenty of hiking trails around the resort and it's just a short walk down to the sea for a spot of kayaking.

There is a swimming pool for refreshing swims and the onsite spa provides a full range of massages, facials and other treatments. Healthy eating is assured with many of the fresh ingredients coming from the gardens while other items such as fish are sourced daily from local markets.

ART RETREAT
The art retreat is the ideal opportunity to learn or improve artistic skills under the expert guidance of a local artist. Scheduled to run 12-19 November, the 7 night retreat includes 3 guided painting sessions and trips to English Harbour and St John's that could provide artistic inspiration.

When not taking part in guided painting sessions, participants are free to create their own artworks. The tropical gardens, the stunning sea views or the historic Great House itself could be the perfect subjects for paintings.

The retreat also includes all meals and participants can also take part in daily fitness classes.

The Great House Antigua will provide basic art materials, but holidaymakers are welcome to bring their own favourite paints or brushes.
