Escorted tour specialist Newmarket Holidays has launched two new South Africa safaris, including its first with a Mauritius beach extension. 

The new 15-day On Safari in South Africa with Mauritius Beach tour starts with a week of animal adventures, including five game drives to spot the 'Big Five' in Sebatana Private Reserve and Welgevonden Game Reserve, plus a night drive, guided walking tour, Champagne brunch in the bush and a sundowner on Sunset Rock.

On day nine the tour transfers to the Indian Ocean island of Mauritius, where guests can stay by the beach or take part in relaxing activities that include a visit to the world's only winery dedicated to lychee wine, a speedboat cruise around some of Mauritius' most beautiful uninhabited islands, and the chance to be a conservationist for the day by helping local biologists at a wildlife foundation.
