Family-first hotel, Sands Resort – located on the north Cornish coast in Porth, near Newquay - has launched a brand-new Yes Day Break that puts kids in charge of the family schedule to create the ultimate, fun-filled, affordable holiday.
Tapping into the family trend for giving kids the chance to have an anything goes 'yes day' (following the 2021 movie), this break maxes out on adventure and makes it easy for parents to treat their kids as King for the day. Kids can load up their holiday doing all the things that they love and parents can enjoy giving them free-reign without having to worry about costs spiralling.
To start the day right, all children staying at Sands Resort on the Yes Day Break will enjoy a free smoothie packed with all the good stuff they'll need to power up for their adventure. They can then choose from a list of Yes Day experiences from making a splash in the heated outdoor or indoor swimming pools, to T-shirt painting and pottery in the free afternoon arts and crafts sessions. Kids can also let loose in the adventure playgrounds, maze, bouncy castle, indoor games room and in the soft play for toddlers – all completely free. To make the most of the stunning location, children can also choose to spend time on the golden sands of Porth beach which is just footsteps from the hotel with free use of buckets, spades, rock pooling nets and buggies.
As part of the Yes Day break, families also enjoy discounted entry to local attractions Camel Creek Family Theme Park and The Lost Gardens of Heligan. Children can challenge grown-ups to soar high on the rollercoasters, explore a jungle and walk the rope bridge. Discounted family surf and stand-up paddleboard lessons are also up for grabs with Wavehunters at the Extreme Academy, as well as marine wildlife watching trips to spot dolphins, seals and puffins.
The Yes Day Break start from £153 per night in a two-room family suite and is available until end of September (subject to availability). For more information and to book, visit www.sandsresort.co.uk
