Escorted tour specialist, Newmarket Holidays, has launched a musical odyssey exploring the locations that inspired two worldwide greats, Elvis Presley and Dolly Parton.

The Ultimate Elvis Presley and Dolly Parton Experience is a nine-day pilgrimage that goes to the places that meant most to these musical legends, including Tupelo in Mississippi, which is the birthplace of Elvis, and then Sevier County, where a young Dolly nurtured her musical dreams. 

Guests can experience the blues, soul and rock 'n' roll spirit of Memphis, home to Elvis for much of his life, and where the streets are still lined with memories of local legends and venues filled with live music. There are optional tours to Sun Studios, where Elvis and many country stars recorded, followed by a visit to Graceland, the legendary home of The King.

After visiting Nashville, with the renowned recording studio RCA Studio B, the historic Music Row district and the Country Music Hall of Fame among the available tour options, the adventure hits the foothills of the Smoky Mountains, where a life-size bronze statue of a guitar-playing Dolly Parton welcomes arrivals.

Fans can explore the singer's birthplace, before the experience comes to an end with a chance to visit Dollywood, the 50-ride amusement park that is owned by the singer and celebrates the culture, crafts and music of the region.
