Award-winning Scottish tour specialist Brightwater Holidays (www.brightwaterholidays.com, 01334 766062) has teamed up with Coinneach MacLeod, aka the Hebridean Baker, on a new departure of its long-running and ever popular Grand Tour of the Outer Hebrides, which will see him host an 'Evening With' exclusively for guests on the six-day trip.

Coinneach rose to fame under the guise of the Hebridean Baker on TikTok in 2020 and has since amassed over 250,000 followers on the platform along with 3.3 million likes, and he also has more than 100,000 followers on Instagram. He has sold out a forthcoming North American book tour with the release of his second cookbook, My Scottish Island Kitchen, and his highly anticipated third cookbook, entitled Hebridean Baker: At Home, will be released in the UK this coming October.

His passion for bringing the best flavours of the Scottish islands to the masses caught Brightwater's eye and he will now be joining the 13th June departure of its Grand Tour of the Outer Hebrides for one evening only, during which he will share his love of foods of the islands along with unique recipes, myths and legends of the Hebrides, and personal anecdotes of life growing up there. This promises to be an intimate and very entertaining evening with Gaelic songs sung by Coinneach himself, bringing to life the sights and sounds of the islands that guests will go on to discover for themselves over the coming days on this best-selling six-day tour.

Speaking about his appearance on the tour, Coinneach said: “I am so excited to partner with Brightwater Holidays and share my passion for the Outer Hebrides with their guests. I was born and raised on the Isle of Lewis and look forward to inspiring those on the tour with our unique culture, history, language, and food – oh and maybe a Gaelic song or two as well!”

Brightwater's 13th June departure of its six-day Grand Tour of the Outer Hebrides includes free coach pick-ups from Perth, Kinross, Dunfermline, Edinburgh and Glasgow. The price for the tour starts from £1,295pp and includes accommodation throughout at two different hotels, all local travel aboard a private coach, a professional Tour Manager accompanying the tour, all visits as per the itinerary, and meals comprised of 5 breakfasts and 5 dinners.

The tour's highlights range from a tour of the Isle of Harris distillery where guests learn about the local production of gin and whisky to the area's archaeological hotspots, such as the 5,000-year-old Standing Stones of Callanish and the Norse Mill at Shawbost. Guests will also visit the stunning beach at  Luskentyre, Lews Castle and Museum, and the historic St. Clement's Church at Rodel.
