Sydney - Celebrated Australian chef, Guy Grossi will open his Amalfi Coast-inspired restaurant Settimo, at The Westin Brisbane on Thursday 23 February 2023. The menu celebrates both Italian and Australian food culture – drawing on the abundance of local produce and some international hero ingredients, carefully crafted under the guidance of Grossi. Diners are set to dive into an exciting journey of traditional flavours that hero both the raw ingredients and the masterful art of Italian cuisine.
Menu highlights include Pasta al Limone, Scialatielli all' amalfitana, Mozzarella di Bufala, Gnocchi alla Sorrentina, Spaghetti alla N'erano, Amalfi Lemon Chicken, Guy's Papa's Lamb, Peperoni imbottiti and classic sweet finishes such as Settimo Gelato and Delizie Al Limone and Grossi's Tiramisù.

“I am truly delighted to be bringing a new Grossi restaurant to what is already such an exciting market for hospitality in Brisbane. We have developed a new dining concept in partnership with The Westin Brisbane and I am thrilled to bring my vision for Settimo to life.
Settimo brings a light, fun and breezy new vibe to the well-established food scene in Brisbane. We have created a journey for diners that is inspired by one of the world's most aspirational destinations, the Amalfi Coast, coupled with the urban energy and sunny coastal atmosphere of the city. We've assembled a team of passionate and highly skilled experts who are ready and waiting to welcome diners to the venue,” said Guy Grossi.
The dynamic highly trained culinary team who will take diners on the Italian-inspired sensory journey at every touchpoint include: Alessandro Pizzolato has joined Settimo as head chef, Anthony Folio will manage the floor and orchestrate the vibrant dining experience while experienced Sommelier, Deniz Hardman will be guiding guests through the extensive international and domestic wine list, offering pairing suggestions and intricate insights.
Designed by Mills Gorman Architects, Settimo's aesthetic pays homage to the iconic Italian coastline its aquamarine waters, bordering cliffs and Mediterranean architecture. Rich tactile furnishings including split face stone referencing the Amalfi cliff faces, while Fibonacci stone and terrazzo, and custom-designed terracotta and ceramic tile accents will bring to life the colourful villages dotted down the hills and along the coastline. Muted tones, hand-made brick, contrasting timbers and natural fibres accented with pops of pastel blue and lemon yellow culminate to represent the famed shop houses that make up the terraced towns. A custom designed private dining room that seats up to 20 people features an abundance of natural light from floor-to-ceiling windows and downtown views. Handcrafted furnishings accent the space, evoking a coastal romantic Italian atmosphere.
