The new afternoon tea will be available throughout February, hosted in the hotel's tea lounge, where signature Malone Souliers pointed-toe mules and accessories will be on display. Fashion-forward guests can expect a selection of handcrafted, colourful sweet creations that reflect the unique and unexpected designs of Malone Souliers expertly crafted footwear, served alongside traditional sandwiches and scones. Savoury highlights include a Severn and Wye

gravlax smoked salmon sandwich, with yuzu kosho and dill crème fraiche, and radish on soft rye bread and a Cornish chicken, basil pesto, rocket and sundried tomato sandwich on harissa bread.

Almost good enough for the runway, the sweet treats include the 'Maureen', a modern take on a strawberry, raspberry and rose compote and crumble in a caramel chocolate high heel; the 'Yasmin', a tangy passionfruit, mango and pineapple creation with coconut and white chocolate mousse, in a stiletto-shaped vanilla sable; and the 'Rita', an Earl Grey tea bavarois, with lychee and raspberry confit, presented as a chocolate handbag.

During February, guests of the afternoon tea can also shop Malone Souliers collections direct from the lounge of The Biltmore, with attentive team members on hand to deliver shoes and accessories from Malone Souliers' flagship Mount Street boutique. The Biltmore Mayfair's

Concierge team can also organise in-suite shopping appointments with Malone Souliers stylists.

The Malone Souliers Afternoon Tea is available from Wednesday 1st February until Tuesday 28th February, served between 12.30 - 17.00. The tea is priced at £80 per person, and £95 including a glass of Champagne.

Mary Alice's affinity for craftsmanship and structural forms led to shoemaking, at London College of Fashion's Cordwainer's course.
