Pullman Melbourne on the Park has announced the appointment of Stephan Leroy as its new General Manager.

Stephan first joined Accor in 2007 at Sofitel Sydney Wentworth. He followed this with a number of stints at properties throughout Australia, before moving to China, where he led two flagship hotels; Sofitel Guangzhou Sunrich and Pullman Shanghai South.

His appointment marks a return to the Accor network, and a move that will see him relocate with his family from Sydney.

“I'm thrilled to be relocating to Melbourne to take up the helm at Pullman Melbourne on the Park. The hotel has a long history of providing first-class accommodation to both local and international visitors, and I look forward to continuing to create a premium hotel experience,” Stephan says.

“I'm also excited to be leading an incredibly talented team in one of the world's most vibrant cities.”

A keen soccer fan, following the Sydney Football Club and Paris Saint Germain Football Club, Stephan says that he will now turn his attention to the AFL, with the Richmond Football Club firmly in his sights.

Stephan joins Pullman Melbourne on the Park at a time when demand for premium hotel experiences and travel is experiencing significant growth following two years of travel restrictions due to the Covid pandemic.

Stephan began his new role with Pullman Melbourne on the Park in November.
