Esperance Airport & Rex Airlines Sets New All Time Record

Australia

Esperance Airport in Western Australia in partnership with Rex Airlines has recorded an all-time aviation visitation record. This follows the previous consecutive records achieved for the June, July, August and September's periods reported from Department of Transport WA.

This also beats the previous record set by Esperance Airport and Rex Airlines in March 2017.

At a time of great challenges for tourism and aviation globally it is encouraging to see Esperance achieve five months of consecutive growth records including an all-time record set by Rex into Esperance.

The increased passenger numbers on the Perth-Esperance service have resulted in the aviation carrier further increasing services as demand consistently continues to exceed supply.

Australia's Golden Outback's Tourism Development Manager in Esperance, Simon Latchford is thrilled with these results.

"Historically this quarter represents the regions low season, these results only serve to further reinforce the significantly growing interest in the extraordinary destination that is Esperance"
