Camber Holiday Cottages is run by Georgina and Richard Holt, whose parents bought a holiday home in Camber in 1952. In 1998 Georgina and Richard moved their young family from Portobello in 1998 to take on the holiday house as a permanent home. They renovated the adjoining barn and starting rent it out as a holiday home – and thus Camber Holiday Cottages was born. Through friends and visitors word spread of how wonderful Camber is for a beach break just an hour from London, and their roster of wonderful homes has grown organically through word of mouth and recommendations. This special personal touch runs through the company, and the team are passionate and knowledgeable about their area, ensuring guests have the very best memories from their coastal escape.
