Holiday Inn Sydney Airport unveils $15 million room refurbishment

•  All 252 rooms have all been refurbished at a cost of $15 million
• The upscale hotel has been redesigned to create a modern, elevated aesthetic
   

Holiday Inn Sydney Airport has today announced the unveiling of its impressive $15 million refurbishment, revealing its new-look 252 guest rooms for a new era of airport accommodation. 

As part of IHG Hotels & Resorts, Holiday Inn Sydney Airport worked with a design group on the newly refurbished rooms to create a modern and inviting feel. 

“Whether it's an annual family holiday or business trip, we know guests are seeking to make travel as seamless as possible – right from the get-go. We are incredibly proud to be welcoming guests to a new era of airport accommodation, where it's all about making their stay part of the journey,” said Mayuresh Deodhar, General Manager of Holiday Inn Sydney Airport.

From the open lobby as guests arrive, to small touches including early morning coffees from their bespoke coffee cart, Holiday Inn Sydney Airport provides a calming, relaxing experience for guests from beginning to end, with their dedicated Holiday Inn airport shuttle also on offer for guests. 

As part of the refreshed room design, each guestroom is now fitted out with a Nespresso station, digital menus, mounted slim televisions and fantastic views of Mascot and Sydney Airport. Guests are greeted with earthy tones from bronze light fixtures and on-trend leather headboards, inviting an ultimate atmosphere of warmth and comfort.

Modern and functional bathrooms have been a major focus of the refresh, with spacious showers, soft lighting and large-format bathroom amenities to minimise waste now on offer. 

With kids under 12 staying and eating for free at the hotel through their 'Kids Stay & Eat Free' program, the family rooms offer two queen-size beds with plenty of space for the family.   

Guests will enjoy a host of facilities to complete their stay, including a fully equipped gym, business centre and two restaurants - Biggles Bar & Grill and Sirocco. 

Holiday Inn Sydney Airport also offers secure, on-site parking where guests can park at the hotel for four, eight or 15 nights through their 'Park, Stay & Go' package. 

Located just 450 meters from Mascot Station, the hotel is 15 minutes from Sydney CBD by train with easy access to Sydney's attractions including the iconic Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge.
