In April 2022, Singapore joined the Global Destination Sustainability-Index (GDS-Index), building the country's current sustainability efforts under the Singapore Green Plan 2030 – a nationwide movement to advance the city's agenda on sustainable development.
The commitment supports Singapore to be a more sustainable urban destination and positions it to achieve its long-term net zero emissions aspiration as soon as viable, cementing its status as a “City in Nature”.
With international travel back on the cards, nearly three quarters (72%)[1] of Aussie travellers have indicated that they believe sustainable travel is vital.
This factsheet thus provides a selection of where to Stay, Eat and Play to help visitors with their sustainable needs in Singapore.
