There can be few more fitting locations to enjoy an Afternoon Tea than at Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire.
Visitors can dine in the opulent surroundings of the Orangery Restaurant based in the courtyard at the UNESCO World Heritage Site.
With Britain's oldest catering company, Searcys, taking up residence, the menu is filled with joyous and indulgent treats, perfect for an afternoon at the Palace.
The offering contains a sumptuous selection of sandwiches, including Searcys smoked salmon and cream cheese, devilled egg and mustard cress, whipped cream cheese and chives.
No Afternoon Tea is complete without scones, made even tastier with lashings of clotted cream and strawberry jam whilst Searcys' signature Victoria Cake is also on the menu.
This can all be washed down with an extravaganza of tea options ranging from infused fruit teas to loose leaf Darjeeling.
Guests can enjoy the majestic treat everyday between 1pm and 4pm with booking required, the price for the experience in £32 per person.

About Blenheim Palace
Home to the Dukes of Marlborough since 1705, Blenheim Palace was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1987.
Set in over 2,000 acres of 'Capability' Brown landscaped parkland and designed by Vanbrugh in the Baroque style, it was financed by Queen Anne, on behalf of a grateful nation, following the first Duke of Marlborough's triumph over the French in the War of the Spanish Succession.
Today it houses one of the most important and extensive collections in Europe, which includes portraits, furniture, sculpture and tapestries.
Blenheim Palace is also the birthplace of one of Britain's most famous leaders, Sir Winston Churchill, and it was his father who described the vista on entering the Estate from the village of Woodstock as the 'finest view in England'.
