Sydney, AUSTRALIA, 25 July 2022 – Marriott International's highly-skilled team of associates were spotlighted at the Tourism Accommodation Australia (TAA) Awards held in Sydney on Wednesday evening, 20th July.

 With 14 nominations across 8 talent categories, Marriott's exceptional talent won the top awards across 2 key categories including Hotel Industry Rising Star and Rooms Division Talent of the Year, awarded to Domenic Torrisi and Jade Bradshaw of Pier One Sydney Harbour, Autograph Collection respectively.

Pier One Sydney Harbour, Autograph Collection achieved the top awards in 2 categories including the Hotel Industry Rising Star which was awarded to Domenic Torrisi, and Rooms Division Talent of the Year awarded to Jade Bradshaw. The hotel also had 2 finalists including Sales & Marketing Talent of the Year – Chloe Nutt, and HR Talent of the Year – Catalina Rueda.

Sheraton Grand Sydney Hyde Park achieved finalists in 3 categories including Engineer of the Year – Anand Goundar, Food and Beverage Talent of the Year – Grace Iskandar, and Chef of the Year – Ming (Dennis) Mu.

Sydney Harbour Marriott was also recognised as a finalist across 7 categories including HR Talent of the Year – Corinna Saffhill, Food and Beverage Talent of the Year – Robert Battley, Finance Talent of the Year – Nicole Campion, Rooms Talent of the Year – Amie Cox, Chef of the Year – Aakanksha Aakanksha, Sales and Marketing Talent of the Year – Camila Liu, and Rising Star – Rina Park.

The Tourism Accommodation Australia NSW Awards for Excellence are recognised as the most prestigious hospitality and tourism awards in the state, honouring the achievement of excellence in a wide range of categories in the accommodation industry inclusive of community contribution, accommodation, restaurants and bars and people.
